As I mentioned in a previous post, my cousin Eena got married this past summer (it is also her birthday month right now, so swing by her blog and drop a greeting hehe).
My sister and I were part of her and her husband Chris’s wedding party. It was such a fun afternoon and evening. We were reunited with distant relatives, met new friends, got to dance and even explored new places on the days leading up to their wedding. More importantly, we ate a lot of good food!
Eena and Chris’s wedding photos – taken by the wife and husband team at Love is Sweet Photography – recently arrived, and Eena sent them to my sister and I. A lot of fun moments were beautifully captured, and I wanted to share some favourites here.
Disclaimer: As already mentioned, all of the following photos in this post were taken by Love is Sweet Photography.
These next photos were taken around the wedding venue. Guests were milling about with appetizers in hand, while we were let loose driving golf-carts to some photo-op spots haha!
After the wedding party photos, we danced our way into the reception area to Treasure by Bruno Mars (a.k.a., one of the best songs to dance to!).
The rest of the evening included dinner, desserts, father-daughter and mother-son dances (*wipes tear), getting pictures at the photo-booth and even more dancing!! Our great-aunts from Nevada were leading some of the dances, and almost everyone entered the dance floor when Abba’s Dancing Queen started playing. The groom and his family also belted out to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to end the night. It was phenomenal.
It was a beautiful and memorable celebration. Cheers and congratulations to Chris and Eena! Love you guys and very thankful to call you family.
