Ban Chok Dee Thai Cuisine

Josh and I do this thing where we visit restaurants and eateries that serve food from other countries. We’ve been doing it since we started dating, and don’t plan on stopping haha. I thought it would be fun to bring our experiences with this onto my blog – also it’s a good way to support these small businesses!

Our most recent food date was at Ban Chok Dee Thai Cuisine. I’m not as familiar with thai food as Josh is, but was so excited to visit this restaurant. I’ve seen the restaurant outside my car window when I drive by the area, and had made a note to visit. I’m so glad we finally checked the place out!

One of the things that I love about Ban Chok Dee is this little patio space with a bunch of vintage-y styled furniture and decor. It’s by the entrance, and was the reason I noticed the restaurant to begin with (we were driving by the area and it caught my eye!).

There are safety precautions in place and the staff are very welcoming and friendly!

Once Josh and I settled in our seats, we scanned the menu and ended up ordering four dishes.

Chicken Satay with Thai Peanut Sauce

Pineapple Cashew Fried Rice

Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao)

Green Curry

I haven’t been to many Thai restaurants, mainly because I don’t know where to go. I’m so happy that we found out about Ban Chok Dee. The food was delicious!! It was a combination of flavours and spices that made our lunch so tasty! We enjoyed each dish, the presentation was lovely, and the service is wonderful.

Ban Chok Dee will find us at their doors again soon. It was a great experience.
